Job description
Job Overview
This role is within the Production Department focusing on granulation, compression, coating, and encapsulation operations at a pharmaceutical manufacturing unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere strictly to GMP, GxP, and all relevant regulatory and EH&S standards to ensure compliance across processes.
- Complete necessary training on SOPs and execute tasks according to defined procedures, promptly reporting any deviations or operational challenges.
- Plan and organize departmental workload aligned with delivery timelines, ensuring necessary materials are available and handled appropriately for raw materials, bulk goods, and finished products.
- Collaborate effectively with QC, R&D, Engineering, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless production workflows.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, discipline, and good manufacturing practices throughout production areas.
- Optimize resource utilization including manpower, machinery, and materials; manage inventory levels and assign tasks efficiently.
- Investigate any deviations, non-conformities, or customer complaints; implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve issues.
- Lead validation activities; prepare, review, and update qualification documents and procedures to enhance productivity.
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues promptly and manage change controls effectively.
- Support quality management systems by reporting discrepancies, non-conformances, or incidents to the production and QA leadership.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Unit Head.
Candidate Profile
- Possess 2 to 5 years of experience with knowledge of machinery and GMP standards.
- Graduate degree in Pharmacy.
