The Forest Ridge division operates across the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding regions, undertaking diverse commercial and residential landscaping projects. These projects encompass hardscaping, softscaping, grading, retaining walls, planting, and sodding. Job Overview

The Office Administrator will provide essential administrative support to various departments, contributing to the overall efficiency and smooth functioning of the office. This role reports directly to the Office Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily administrative tasks and provide comprehensive support to different departments.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for easy retrieval of critical documents.
  • Aid in the preparation of site maps and documentation to support accurate bid submissions for new contracts.
  • Utilize vehicle tracking software to generate precise reports for contracts and assist in payroll processing.
  • Support the accounting department by managing receipts, verifying documentation, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Prepare necessary reports, forms, and other documents for Operations and Shop Managers.
  • Undertake special projects and complete tasks as assigned by management.
  • Employ computer software and office systems to execute a range of administrative and operational duties.

Qualifications

  • A diploma in Office Administration is advantageous.
  • Prior experience as an administrative assistant is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with multiple team members on diverse tasks.
  • Possesses proactive problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, enabling effective handling of multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Capacity to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Compensation and Schedule

The compensation for this role is between $20 and $22 per hour. The work schedule is Monday to Friday.

Work Location and Commute

This is an in-person position located in Mount Albert, ON L0G 1M0. Candidates are expected to reliably commute to or plan to relocate to this location before commencing employment.
