About the Opportunity

A respected allied health provider registered with NDIS is expanding its team and seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist to work in its Werribee location. The workload consists of approximately 60-70% clinic-based sessions held in a modern therapy facility, while the remaining 30-40% involves community visits throughout Melbourne's western and north-western suburbs. You will collaborate within a welcoming, multidisciplinary team focused on delivering person-centered care to NDIS participants across all age groups, ranging from early childhood intervention to adult and elderly clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload exclusively involving NDIS participants.
  • Treat a diverse range of pediatric and adult cases including developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing, and functional daily living goals.
  • Conduct client assessments, develop intervention plans, and deliver therapy sessions.
  • Work closely with speech pathologists, behaviour support practitioners, and allied health assistants.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Possession of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Maintain current registration with AHPRA.
  • Preferably 1-2 years of clinical experience post-graduation; newly qualified applicants will be considered based on merit.
  • Willingness or ability to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Valid Working with Children Check.
  • Hold a current Australian driving license and have access to a reliable vehicle for community appointments.
  • Legal right to work in Australia.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $115,000 plus superannuation, depending on experience.
  • Flexible work arrangements including full-time, part-time, or contractor options.
  • Balanced workload of clinic and community-based service delivery.
  • State-of-the-art clinic facilities.
  • Supportive team environment featuring occupational therapists, speech therapists, and behaviour support practitioners.
  • Commitment to professional development and ongoing mentorship.
  • Ethical, person-centred leadership promoting a strong culture.
