About the nursery
This position is based at Busy Bees in Norwich Hospital, an Ofsted-rated Good nursery with space for 118 children. The nursery has a close connection with the local community, including many parents who work at the hospital and several long-serving staff members, some of whom have children enrolled there. The setting has recently updated its garden to improve outdoor play and also shares information with families about local community activities. It is located on the hospital site, with a bus stop about two minutes’ walk away. Staff receive free lunch and free parking. Flexible working may be available in the form of four long days plus an additional day off, subject to staffing needs during recruitment.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside the nursery team to maintain a consistently high level of cleanliness and hygiene across the setting.
- Follow all health and safety procedures while carrying out cleaning and housekeeping duties.
Requirements
- No specific qualification is needed for this role.
- Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping is preferred.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to uphold excellent hygiene standards are important.
- You should be friendly, dependable, and adaptable.
