Role Overview
This position is for a Nurse to support occupational health and emergency first aid at construction project locations. The job focuses on handling employee health documentation, carrying out medical checks, providing immediate nursing care, and contributing to health and safety practices on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver basic nursing support and first aid treatment to workers at the project site.
- Observe employee health conditions and provide suitable medical assistance when required.
- Arrange referrals and organize transport to hospitals or medical facilities if needed.
- Perform regular health checks and keep employee medical files up to date.
- Track, replenish, and maintain first aid boxes and medical consumables.
- Encourage awareness around hygiene, wellbeing, and general health practices.
- Take part in emergency preparedness activities and site evacuation exercises.
- Compile and submit medical reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Record workplace injuries, illnesses, treatments, and any follow-up measures taken.
- Escalate all medical incidents and emergencies to the Senior Nurse Supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized institute, along with a valid nursing license or registration. Candidates should bring 4 to 5 years of experience in the healthcare field, ideally with exposure to emergency care or occupational health. Experience in construction, industrial environments, or remote-site clinics will be considered an advantage. Strong documentation, reporting, and independent decision-making skills are important for this position.
