Position Overview
We seek an experienced Non-IT Recruiter proficient in hiring for various technician and field-based roles encompassing civil, construction, manufacturing, and industrial sectors. This role demands confidence in identifying, screening, and closing candidates for operational positions with tight scheduling requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage comprehensive recruitment processes for non-IT positions such as technicians, electricians, fitters, machine operators, site supervisors, civil engineers, QA/QC personnel, storekeepers, safety officers, foremen, welders, and construction support staff.
- Oversee hiring activities for regions including APAC, UAE, Europe, among others.
- Handle large-scale and bulk recruitment drives for projects related to construction, civil engineering, industrial, manufacturing, and services sectors.
- Utilize diverse sourcing avenues such as job portals, databases, social media, referrals, field sourcing, and local hiring networks.
- Evaluate candidates thoroughly for relevant experience, technical suitability, job stability, salary alignment, notice period, and location flexibility by applying structured assessments.
- Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and clients, manage follow-ups for feedback, and assist in closing offers and ensuring joining.
- Maintain and update candidate tracking systems, pipeline reports, and recruitment status for internal teams and clients.
- Develop and sustain a robust database of blue-collar, grey-collar, and entry to mid-level non-IT talent.
- Collaborate closely with clients and internal stakeholders to grasp job descriptions, urgency levels, recruitment challenges, and market conditions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience recruiting for technician, civil, construction, manufacturing, logistics, or industrial non-IT roles.
- Deep understanding of mass recruitment, campus hiring, field hiring, and volume recruitment strategies.
- Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques including job portals, professional networking sites, referral systems, and offline recruitment methods.
- Ability to assess and manage candidate pipelines for practical and technical roles with high volume interview coordination.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, persistent follow-up, and effective closure abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous work experience in recruitment consultancies, staffing agencies, or contract hiring settings is advantageous.
- Experience in multi-location or project-based hiring is favorable.
- Comfortable working in target-driven and deadline-oriented recruitment environments.
