Night Auditor

Position Overview

The Night Auditor at Zesora Resorts Nathia Gali is tasked with a comprehensive review and reconciliation of all revenue-related transactions occurring overnight throughout the resort's various outlets. This role ensures the accuracy of the Night Audit Trial Balance and Guest Ledger while promptly identifying discrepancies or revenue losses for managerial intervention.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit all source documents stemming from revenue-generating areas thoroughly.
• Match these source documents against summarized reports to ensure consistency.
• Reconcile the recorded revenue in the property management system with the summarized data from different departments.
• Prepare detailed Restaurant Summaries for all food and beverage outlets.
• Perform random inspections and cash verifications across outlets.
• Review City Ledger Control accounts and verify transferred amounts against source evidence.
• Generate the Night Audit Trial Balance and Guest Ledger, investigating and addressing any inconsistencies.
• Compile Early Bird Reports highlighting incorrect revenue entries and daily pricing deviations.
• Identify and report any leakages in revenue streams and maintain updating records using OPMS and Microsoft Office applications such as cash journal vouchers.
• File all night audit documentation properly.
• Support junior colleagues with their tasks as needed.
• Carry out additional duties assigned by the Assistant Income Auditor or Income Auditor.
