Role Overview
This position offers an engaging chance to be part of Southern Cross Healthcare's Clinical Directorate team, playing an integral role in ensuring safe healthcare delivery throughout the national hospital network. As the Network Credentialling Administrator, you will manage the full credentialling lifecycle for medical specialists applying for new or renewed practising privileges at Southern Cross facilities.
Working closely with Hospital General Managers, the Chief Medical Officer, Head of Clinical Governance, and medical specialists, your responsibilities will focus on verifying that credentialling applications meet organisational policies, legislative mandates, and governance standards.
Core Responsibilities and Skills
- Coordinate complex administrative workflows involving numerous stakeholders.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness of applications.
- Safeguard confidential information with the utmost professionalism and discretion.
- Build and maintain strong communication channels with senior leadership and medical staff.
- Manage competing priorities efficiently while meeting tight deadlines.
- Operate confidently across various information systems and databases to keep precise records and reports.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Uphold privacy and confidentiality standards strictly when handling sensitive data.
Preferred Experience
- Previous exposure to healthcare administration, credentialling, clinical governance, or regulated sectors is advantageous.
- Familiarity with healthcare legislation, credentialling procedures, and compliance guidelines.
- Experience with data reporting tools such as Tableau or equivalents is a plus.

Additional Information
This is a full-time role based at our National Support Office in Auckland, with consideration for a 0.8 FTE arrangement.
