Role Overview
Kelowna Capital News is looking for a full-time Multimedia Sales Consultant to strengthen its advertising team in Kelowna. This position suits someone who enjoys a fast-paced, creative sales setting and understands how to promote brands across several channels.
The successful candidate will confidently represent the Capital News, West K News, and other Black Press Media platforms, offering clients a blend of digital and print advertising solutions. The role calls for a persuasive, energetic professional who can connect with a wide range of people, from small business owners and creative professionals to senior decision-makers.
What You’ll Do
You will handle the ongoing advertising needs of current accounts while also actively pursuing new business. Success in this role depends on balancing account management, outreach, and sales growth through consistent effort and thoughtful strategy.
Requirements
Applicants should have a valid driver’s licence and dependable access to a vehicle. Strong communication and organization skills are essential, along with a demonstrated track record of achieving and surpassing sales goals. Previous experience in business-to-business sales is a valuable advantage.
Compensation
The expected yearly pay is $55,000, with the chance to earn additional commission based on performance.
