Job description
Role overview
Sirva is hiring a Move Management Consultant to coordinate household relocation services for clients. The position is based in the Perth branch in Welshpool and includes customer service and end-to-end coordination for international and domestic moves. After an initial in-office training period, the role offers work-from-home flexibility along with other arrangements designed to support work-life balance.
What the role involves
- Oversee the full coordination of relocation services, including packing, shipping, and storage of personal belongings, vehicles, and animals where required.
- Act as the main point of contact between the relocatee, client, removal provider, and any external vendor involved in the move.
- Monitor the movement process through to final delivery of goods.
- Organize travel, transport, and accommodation requirements linked to the relocation.
- Handle initiation and activation paperwork from clients and maintain accurate files for each relocatee.
- Keep relocatees informed about progress and updates across every stage of the move.
- Chase outstanding quotations or missing information from branch teams and third-party suppliers.
- Respond to customer needs promptly and take practical action to resolve issues.
- Maintain timely communication with relocatees throughout the relocation cycle in line with KPI expectations.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant will bring proven experience delivering a consistently high standard of client service, along with the ability to develop strong working relationships. Clear written and verbal communication, diplomacy, and the confidence to present ideas logically are all important. The role also suits someone who is proactive, collaborative, and able to work independently with initiative. Experience in a customer-facing or administrative environment supporting government clients is valuable, and background in international relocations or moving services would be an advantage.
