Job description
Role overview
This opportunity is for a Motion & Video Designer based in Ireland, working for a partner company that will handle applications and the next steps in the hiring process. The role blends product storytelling, motion design, and brand expression to help a modern SaaS product be understood clearly across every customer touchpoint.
You will turn complex product capabilities into engaging motion content that supports launches, marketing campaigns, and continuous product education. In partnership with Product Marketing, Design, and Product teams, you will help shape how features and ideas are communicated through animation, video, and motion systems. The environment is collaborative, fast-paced, and focused on consistency, scale, and high-quality craft. Alongside creating individual assets, you will also help build a shared motion design system that reinforces the brand across channels.
What you'll do
- Create animated product demos, feature explainers, and launch videos that make complex functionality easy to understand and visually appealing.
- Develop motion graphics and UI animations that present workflows, features, and product value in a cohesive, on-brand way.
- Work closely with Product Marketing, Product, and Design teams to turn launches and strategic initiatives into strong visual stories.
- Build and refine a scalable motion and video design system, including templates, intros, outros, lower thirds, thumbnails, and reusable motion assets.
- Edit and produce video content for different formats and channels while keeping it aligned with brand standards and visual quality.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to plan and deliver video content for campaigns, events, webinars, and product releases.
What we're looking for
- 3 to 5 years of experience in motion design, video production, or a closely related creative discipline, backed by a strong portfolio of work.
- Hands-on proficiency with Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Figma, and other relevant design and video tools.
- Experience producing product-led videos such as SaaS explainers, demos, or launch assets.
- Strong grasp of visual storytelling, animation principles, typography, and full video production workflows.
- Experience creating reusable motion systems, templates, and scalable video assets for brands or product teams.
- Clear communication and strong collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional environments.
- Comfort using AI tools in creative workflows while keeping judgment, quality, and taste at the center.
- A degree in Design, Motion Graphics, Multimedia, Film, or a related subject is advantageous, though equivalent professional experience is also acceptable.
Perks and benefits
- Fully remote-friendly setup with flexibility and support for work-life balance.
- Monthly allowance for remote work costs, including internet and home office utilities.
- Home office setup support provided at onboarding, with upgrade or co-working options available later.
- 25 days of annual leave, plus local public holidays, sick leave, and parental leave support.
- Dedicated budget for personal development, including courses, books, conferences, and learning materials.
- Virtual stock option plan (VSOP) with shared long-term success potential.
- Regular team connection through quarterly and monthly virtual events, plus an annual in-person offsite.
- International team culture built around creativity, ownership, and shared impact.
