Role overview
This position is with a respected mortgage brokerage in Tipperary that is expanding its team. The focus of the role is the final stage of the mortgage journey, making sure cases move efficiently from loan approval through to drawdown.

Key responsibilities
- Oversee mortgage applications during the completion and drawdown phase
- Track open cases and chase any missing documents or outstanding items
- Check loan offers carefully and confirm that all conditions are satisfied before funds are released
- Liaise with solicitors to keep completions moving smoothly and on time
- Keep records accurate and ensure CRM updates are completed
- Keep clients informed with regular progress updates throughout the completion process
- Assist advisers and colleagues in delivering excellent customer service
Required experience and skills
The ideal candidate will have prior exposure to mortgage administration, mortgage processing, or mortgage completion work, along with a solid understanding of the mortgage lifecycle and how lending processes operate. Strong organisation, careful attention to detail, and the ability to manage a busy pipeline are important. Good communication and relationship-building skills are also essential, as is the ability to work on your own while remaining an effective team player. Confidence with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Outlook, is expected, and experience with mortgage CRM platforms would be an advantage.
Qualifications
- APA (Loans), or progress toward APA/QFA qualifications
- A qualification in financial services or a related business field is desirable
- Experience in a mortgage brokerage, lender, or broader financial services setting is preferred
- Knowledge of Irish mortgage lending rules and compliance expectations is an advantage
