Role overview
Join GardaWorld’s Security Services team in Halifax, Nova Scotia as a Mobile Patrol professional. This role is suited to someone with sharp observation skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to notice concerns quickly while monitoring multiple screens and environments.
In this position, you will help identify risks before they grow, working in places such as security operations centres, call centres, parking gatehouses, and similar settings.

Key duties
- Keep watch over security systems and identify unusual or suspicious activity.
- Record incidents and observations in clear, detailed reports.
- React promptly when incidents or possible threats arise.
- Carry out routine patrols to help maintain site safety.
- Manage access to restricted areas and confirm visitor identities.
- Review security systems for possible weaknesses or equipment issues.
- Work with law enforcement when serious incidents or emergencies occur.
Required qualifications
- You must be legally permitted to work in Canada.
- A valid security license is required.
- First aid certification is required.
- A valid driver’s licence and a clear driving abstract are mandatory.
- You should have strong report-writing ability.
- Good eyesight and the ability to stay focused are important.
- Comfort and confidence with technology are needed.
