About the Opportunity

Bank of New Zealand is looking for a mobile Home Loan Partner to strengthen its home lending team in Canterbury. This role is focused on working directly with customers in the community, offering expert guidance through the home loan process, and building long-term relationships that help people move from first enquiry to settlement and beyond.

The position suits someone who is confident in home lending, comfortable creating new business, and able to draw on an existing network to generate quality opportunities. You’ll represent BNZ across the region in a visible, proactive way, helping grow the bank’s mobile home lending presence.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Creating new home lending opportunities through personal connections, referrals, and local market activity.
• Developing trusted relationships with customers, introducers, and community contacts throughout the region.
• Supporting customers through the complete home loan process, from initial discussion and pre-approval to approval and drawdown.
• Preparing strong credit applications and partnering with internal teams to move approvals forward.
• Following up on leads, understanding customer needs, and delivering a positive experience at each stage.
• Helping New Zealanders make progress toward owning their homes.
