Job Overview

As a Mixologist at Emirates Flight Catering in Dubai, you will play a pivotal role in crafting exceptional beverage experiences. This full-time onsite position requires you to innovate and maintain the bar menu, ensuring high standards and guest delight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and continual enhancement of the bar menu, aligning with food and beverage standards and infusing creative concepts to improve guest satisfaction.
  • Work alongside F&B Supervisors to organize and execute staff training focused on beverage preparation and service protocols, including renewing menu knowledge, preparing training materials, and performing skill evaluations.
  • Oversee bar operations comprehensively, collaborating with management to ensure flawless service delivery and operational effectiveness.
  • Prepare and serve drinks precisely according to set recipes, maintaining consistent quality and ensuring guest enjoyment.
  • Provide daily guidance to bar staff by delegating tasks, offering coaching, and delivering performance feedback to uphold service excellence.
  • Offer courteous, professional guest service supported by thorough beverage expertise.
  • Manage inventory and stock control meticulously to ensure cost-effectiveness, accurate ordering, and uninterrupted supply of beverage items and essentials.
  • Promptly handle any guest concerns, reporting and working with the team to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Comply strictly with Emirates Flight Catering’s Occupational Health, Safety, and Quality Policies (ISO 9001:2008), adopting safe work practices and implementing necessary corrective measures.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with departmental procedures, monitor compliance proactively, spearhead continuous improvement efforts, and maintain EKFC’s high standards of quality, safety, and service throughout lounge operations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Mandatory high school certification.
  • Diploma or an equivalent credential is desirable.
  • Preferably certified in WSET Levels 1, 2, and 3 or equivalent beverage qualifications.
  • A minimum of four years experience working in bars or as a bartender within the hospitality sector.
  • Must maintain a professional and well-groomed appearance consistent with the position’s requirements.
