About the role
For the Medical Clinic in the Acute Geriatrics and Geriatric Rehabilitation unit at Martha-Maria St. Theresien Hospital, a full-time secretarial role is available from 1 July 2026. The position is designed for 39 hours per week.
You will join a respectful, supportive team and receive a structured onboarding process, 31 days of annual leave, compensation aligned with AVR-EmK, and additional employee benefits.
Your responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate outpatient and inpatient appointments while communicating with internal and external doctors, patients, and payers.
- Handle the scheduling and time management for the chief physicians of the Medical Clinic.
- Take care of core secretarial duties such as answering calls, processing incoming and outgoing mail, preparing meeting notes, and carrying out general office work.
- Organize meetings, events, and training sessions.
- Maintain records and handle invoicing tasks within the Medical Clinic.
Your profile
- Completed vocational training as a medical assistant, physician assistant, practice manager, healthcare management clerk, or a comparable qualification.
- Professional experience in a secretarial, assistant, or similar role is preferred.
- Experience in healthcare and solid knowledge of medical terminology are an advantage.
- Confident use of MS Office and strong general IT skills are required.
- You should be well organized, open in communication, and work independently, reliably, and in a solution-focused manner.
