Role overview
Highsnobiety is hiring a Midlevel Designer to join its Creative team in Berlin. The position spans client, agency, and brand-focused projects, and suits someone with solid design basics, a strong desire to develop, and enthusiasm for working across a wide range of formats, platforms, and creative briefs.
You will report to the VP Creative, Design, and partner with senior designers, creative leads, and cross-functional stakeholders. The work will involve helping shape ideas and bringing them to life across digital, print, motion, and spatial applications, while also growing your own design perspective within the Highsnobiety visual world.
What you'll do
- Contribute to the design and delivery of creative work across client and agency projects, with some participation in brand-led initiatives
- Turn creative briefs into polished design outputs for presentations, layouts, social content, campaign visuals, and simple motion pieces
- Build layout structures and typographic systems with support from senior team members
- Assist with early-stage concept work through visual research, reference gathering, mood boards, and initial explorations
- Organize and prepare design files for presentation and production while maintaining consistency and precision
- Work closely with creatives, strategists, producers, and project managers to move projects forward
- Keep expanding your design abilities and visual understanding through practical project experience
Skills and experience
- Between 1 and 4 years of experience in a design position, internship, or comparable freelance work
- Strong grounding in layout and typography
- Confident use of Adobe Creative Suite
- Practical working knowledge of Figma
- Basic motion design ability is an advantage
- A curious mindset, strong attention to detail, and openness to learning
- Agency background is beneficial
