Position Overview
Frontier School Division is hiring a Middle Years Teacher for Jack River School in Jack River, Victoria, Australia. This is a permanent, full-time role at 1.00 FTE with a planned start date of September 8, 2026. Applications close on Thursday, July 9, 2026.

Jack River School serves Nursery to Grade 8 learners and has an enrolment of 500 students. The school is located in Norway House, Manitoba, a busy community at the scenic meeting point of Lake Winnipeg and the Nelson River. Candidate Profile
- You should hold a Bachelor of Education degree and have a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate, or be eligible to obtain one.
- Strong familiarity with provincial curriculum expectations is important.
- Prior classroom teaching experience is required.
- You need confidence using school-based technology.
- Well-developed classroom management abilities are essential.
- Knowledge of Indigenous ways of life is an advantage.
- Experience in a northern community is also considered an asset.
