Role Overview
This fully remote Business Development Manager position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the company's growth in a rapidly changing fintech environment. The role focuses on identifying and engaging potential customers, supporting sales activities, and helping to cultivate a strong sales pipeline, with excellent prospects for career advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify prospective customers matching target profiles.
- Reach out to potential clients using email, LinkedIn, and other outbound techniques.
- Support cold calling efforts and schedule introductory meetings for the sales team.
- Qualify both inbound and outbound leads according to predefined standards before passing them to Account Executives.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate CRM records.
- Consistently contribute to building and sustaining a healthy sales pipeline through outreach.
- Utilize AI tools and sales platforms to enhance prospect research and create personalized communications.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams by providing insights from customer engagement and market trends.
- Participate in industry webinars, events, and networking activities when necessary.
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in business development, sales, lead generation, customer success, or a comparable role; recent graduates with pertinent internships are welcomed.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Comfortable initiating contact with new prospects via email, LinkedIn, and phone calls.
- Basic knowledge of sales processes and lead qualification methods.
- Experience with CRM platforms like HubSpot, Salesforce, or Pipedrive is advantageous.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT and enthusiasm to learn new sales technologies.
- Self-driven, well-organized, and motivated to build a career in B2B sales.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a remote, fast-paced setting.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for team gatherings or industry-related events.
- English proficiency at B2 level.
- Background in fintech is required.
