Role Summary
This role sits within a team that delivers lifecycle services for life sciences and other high-risk, highly regulated markets. The work involves developing clear, compliant, and effective learning content that supports customer operations and reflects current system design and GMP practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Build new web-based training content for MES PAS-X 3.3 or later, or revise existing online training built on PAS-X 3.1.8, using Articulate Storyline.
- Assess current web-based training materials, identify gaps, and recommend practical improvements for MES learning resources.
- Turn complex MES topics such as electronic batch records, recipes, master data, and workflows into easy-to-follow SOPs, work instructions, job aids, and e-learning modules.
- Work with MES engineers and other specialists to collect subject-matter input and ensure training aligns with the live system and GMP expectations.
- Make sure training deliverables meet GxP, data integrity, and regulatory standards, including FDA, Annex 11, and GAMP 5.
- Develop role-specific learning paths that match MES access rights and job duties for operators, reviewers, SMEs, and engineers.
- Apply instructional design methods to identify learning needs, create appropriate training solutions, and measure training impact.
- Produce digital learning assets such as e-learning modules, videos, and interactive simulations.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Life Sciences, Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field.
- Previous experience creating training content in pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing environments.
- Practical experience with Werum PAS-X MES, with Version 3.3 or higher preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Articulate Storyline for building interactive e-learning content.
- Solid understanding of MES concepts, including electronic batch records, workflows, recipes, and master data management.
- Familiarity with GMP, GxP, data integrity, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11, and GAMP 5 requirements.
- Experience producing SOPs, work instructions, training curricula, and digital learning materials.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfort working independently while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Experience building role-based learning programmes in regulated environments is an advantage.
