Withinhere is searching for an organized and proactive Merchandising Lead to oversee merchandising operations for clients in various prominent retail locations in Lusaka, Zambia. The role involves ensuring products are prominently visible, stock is well presented, and brand guidelines are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead merchandising efforts for designated retail outlets.
• Oversee and coordinate merchandising execution in the field.
• Ensure products are displayed properly, visible, and sufficiently stocked.
• Maintain planograms, shelf arrangements, promotional displays, and adhere to brand standards.
• Conduct routine visits to retail outlets to assess merchandising effectiveness.
• Monitor stock levels closely and report any low or out-of-stock situations promptly.
• Track competitor products, pricing strategies, promotions, and in-store activities.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with store managers and retail staff.
• Ensure promotional materials are correctly placed and maintained.
• Gather merchandising data and compile accurate activity reports.
• Use Microsoft Excel and Word for record-keeping, data analysis, and report preparation.
• Provide regular updates on performance to the Sales Director.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Business Administration is required.
• Possession of a valid motorbike driving license.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Accurate reporting and record-keeping capabilities.
• Ability to operate independently and travel between multiple retail outlets.
• Previous experience in merchandising, retail sales, or a related field is advantageous.

Additional Information

This is an urgent vacancy reporting directly to the Sales Director. The monthly salary is K6,000. The role requires onsite presence in Lusaka, Zambia.
