Merchandiser Lead

About the Role

Swire Coca-Cola is seeking a dedicated Merchandiser Lead to oversee merchandising and product stocking operations. As the primary point of contact for local customers, you will ensure customer satisfaction and promote our product range by maintaining beverage sections, displays, coolers, and all points of availability in accordance with Swire Coca-Cola's high standards. This position is crucial for supporting the area sales team and offers significant learning opportunities in merchandising and the beverage industry.

Job Details

Schedule: 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM, with Thursdays and Fridays off. Overtime and weekend work are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the restocking, cleaning, and organization of aisles, displays, sections, racks, coolers, and shelves, ensuring products are aligned with labels facing outward for optimal customer access.
• Implement a 'first-in, first-out' stocking system to guarantee product freshness and minimize waste.
• Maintain backroom organization by consolidating stock safely and accessibly in designated loading dock areas daily for each assigned customer.
• Identify and segregate products unfit for sale for proper crediting to the customer's account.
• Operate essential equipment including manual pallet jacks, hand carts, and six-wheeled carts.
• Construct product displays and promotional setups within assigned stores, adhering to instructions and schedules provided by supervisors and store management.
• Assume Merchandiser Supervisor duties during the supervisor's absence and contribute to the training and development of new merchandisers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
• A valid driver's license with a Passenger (P) endorsement is required upon hiring.
• Must meet Swire's vehicle policy standards for driving records at the time of hire.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possession of reliable personal transportation is necessary.
• Proficiency in operating a mobile smartphone is required.
• Demonstrated ability to perform essential job functions with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as business needs dictate.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds as required for job duties.
