This opportunity is for a Meitei (Manipuri) Music Expert on a contract basis, offering compensation ranging from $50 to $70 per hour. The position is fully remote and requires a weekly commitment of 2 to 5 hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Listen to melodies and accurately transcribe them by ear with precise pitch and rhythm recognition.
- Identify musical characteristics including key, tempo, and time signature.
- Process sung Manipuri/Meitei lyrics fluently, ensuring correct accents and clear delivery.
- Collaborate with AI research teams to contribute towards improvements in generative music models.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and support model enhancement.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or professional experience in music is mandatory.
- Exceptional auditory skills for melody transcription.
- Fluency in the Manipuri/Meitei language.
