Position Overview
BioTalent is proud to collaborate with a pioneering commercial stage diagnostics company currently expanding its initial team of field medical experts within Europe. The Medical Science Liaison will report directly to the Vice President of Medical Affairs and play a critical role in establishing and growing medical partnerships and market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals (HCPs), patient organizations, and influential institutions.
- Plan and implement the local medical strategy, including the design of KOL engagement initiatives and advisory board activities.
- Collaborate closely with regional pharmaceutical partners to enhance market access strategies.
- Serve as the primary scientific and medical resource for the local commercial team.
- Support the development of regional diagnostic testing networks.
- Identify and lead investigator-initiated studies (IIS) and real-world evidence (RWE) research projects.
- Represent the organization at national scientific congresses, meetings, and educational events.
Candidate Profile
- Possession of an advanced academic degree such as PhD, MD, or Pharmacy qualification.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a medical science liaison role.
- Established connections with opinion leaders in the hematology and oncology fields are highly desirable.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Experience engaging with health technology assessment (HTA) bodies and payers.
- Willingness to undertake international travel between 25% and 50% as required.
