Role overview

I-MED Radiology Network is hiring a full-time Medical Receptionist for its Mater Hospital clinic in Sydney, New South Wales. This position offers flexibility around the start date so it can suit the selected candidate.

The role runs on weekday shifts, with working hours between 6:45am and 10:00pm from Monday to Friday. Weekend work may be introduced later.

As the first contact point for patients, you will help create a smooth and welcoming front-desk experience while supporting the clinic’s day-to-day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients in a friendly manner and manage their check-in process.
• Respond to emails and telephone calls quickly and handle questions in a professional way.
• Explain any required preparation before scans or imaging procedures.
• Process billing for private patients, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA.
• Work closely with clerical and technical teams, radiologists, and referrers to support patient flow.
