Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and driven Mechanical Engineer to join our construction team for a villa development project based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The selected professional will oversee and coordinate the installation and maintenance of all mechanical components, encompassing HVAC systems, plumbing, drainage, water supply, and fire-fighting equipment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Examine and synchronize mechanical design drawings and technical specifications.
- Supervise the implementation of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection installations on-site.
- Track the advancement of the project to guarantee adherence to approved blueprints and quality benchmarks.
- Liaise effectively with architects, structural engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations.
- Carry out thorough inspections and quality assurance of mechanical work performed.
- Compile detailed progress reports and technical documentation relevant to the project.
- Assure all mechanical activities conform to local laws, codes, and safety regulations.
- Assist with system testing, commissioning processes, and the final handover phase of the project.
Qualifications and Experience
- Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Possesses between 5 to 10 years of experience in building construction projects, ideally involving villas or residential properties.
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Competency in using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
- Skilled in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
- Excellent communication and problem-resolution abilities.
- Professional registration or certification in mechanical engineering is a plus.
Preferred Background
- Past involvement in high-end residential or luxury villa construction projects.
- Acquaintance with local construction laws and industry standards.
- Experience with site supervision and managing subcontractors.
