Job description
Role Overview
As a member of the Aircraft-on-Ground (AOG) team, you will play a pivotal role in expediting the return of aircraft to operational status by efficiently managing urgent procurement and logistics of essential parts. Your work ensures aircraft downtime is minimized during critical situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle urgent spare parts orders through calls, emails, and online tools.
- Oversee procurement processes for vital aircraft components linked to AOG events.
- Coordinate with both internal teams and external vendors to guarantee prompt material deliveries.
- Address supply chain interruptions by sourcing alternatives and escalating issues when necessary.
- Maintain transparent, courteous, and timely communication with clients to manage expectations and provide consistent updates during the AOG process.
- Work collaboratively with different departments to synchronize procurement with operational demands.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of purchase orders, price details, and invoice discrepancies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Between 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in customer service, logistics, or procurement roles.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Teams, Copilot, and PowerBi.
- Familiarity with SAP and CRM Zendesk platforms is advantageous.
- Ability to remain composed and effective under pressure, with adaptability to shifting priorities.
- Willingness to work extended shifts and weekends as business demands, primarily during Singapore business hours which coincide with Canada's overnight or non-business periods.
