Role Summary
This is a full-time remote opportunity for a Marketing Strategist based in Canada. The role focuses on shaping marketing direction, carrying out market research, launching and improving paid digital campaigns, and serving as a client-facing strategist.
Client Management & Relationship Building
- Serve as the main contact for clients and make sure marketing plans stay aligned with business objectives.
- Develop trusted, long-term client relationships by offering strategic direction, clear recommendations, and measurable outcomes.
- Run client meetings and present campaign progress, performance results, and actionable insights.
- Spot opportunities to strengthen client marketing efforts and position the agency as a strategic advisor.
- Identify opportunities to expand accounts through additional services that add value.
Paid Media Strategy & Execution
- Plan and launch paid digital campaigns across Meta Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other platforms.
- Create paid media strategies that are tailored to each client’s goals and commercial priorities.
- Improve performance through ongoing monitoring, A/B testing, and informed campaign adjustments.
- Manage client budgets and guide spend allocation for the strongest possible return.
- Own reporting and explain strategic findings to clients in a clear, practical way.
- Understand the full marketing funnel and how paid media and social advertising support it.
Performance Tracking, AI & Data-Driven Marketing
- Handle analytics and reporting across social channels and ad campaigns, turning data into useful recommendations.
- Build repeatable systems for testing and measurement that support steady performance gains.
- Use database tools to track, organize, and engage both prospects and existing customers.
- Apply AI tools to improve campaign outcomes, streamline workflows, and optimize business operations.
- Test new tactics, algorithms, and emerging digital approaches to stay current with market changes.
Creative & Digital Content Execution
- Write persuasive ad copy using strong copywriting principles to improve conversions.
- Create effective landing pages and lead pages that support campaign goals and conversion performance.
- Draft, plan, and manage social media content across multiple channels.
- Support website builds, deployment, troubleshooting, edits, and ongoing updates.
- Collaborate on digital experiences that increase engagement and brand visibility.
Growth Mindset & Continuous Learning
- Stay updated on marketing trends, new tools, and best practices to keep strategies sharp.
- Bring advanced digital marketing knowledge that helps clients grow and succeed.
- Maintain an experimental, adaptable, and data-led approach to decision-making.

Experience & Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related area, ideally in a client-facing agency environment.
- Hands-on experience managing social content and ads across Meta, X, and LinkedIn.
- Ability to generate fresh, effective ideas for campaigns and content.
- Strong problem-solving ability with the flexibility to adjust based on data and client feedback.
- Solid knowledge of current trends in marketing, advertising, and communications.
- Experience using database management tools to capture and manage leads.
- Comfort working with raw data, metrics, and performance statistics.
- Strong writing and copywriting ability.
- Preference is given to candidates located in Alberta, Saskatchewan, or Manitoba.
