Job description
About FELLR
FELLR is a Sydney-born beverage label that started during lockdown in 2020 with a goal of making refreshing drinks people are excited to enjoy and share with friends. Over the past six years, it has developed into one of Australia’s most loved independent drink brands.
The brand has built its identity outside the usual playbook, connecting with youth culture through music, surf, fashion and art, while also creating genuine partnerships with like-minded brands and collaborators. Recent milestones include major festival activity and the Venues NSW contract, which gives FELLR pouring rights at Accor Stadium, CommBank Stadium, McDonald Jones Stadium and WIN Stadium.
The business is now in a major growth phase, with national expansion underway, a new product range launching, and international growth planned for the coming years. The team is looking for someone who enjoys building from the ground up, values craftsmanship and outcomes, and wants to have fun while doing meaningful work.
Role overview
The Marketing & Social Coordinator will be central to FELLR’s daily brand presence. This person will manage social channels, coordinate creator activity, assist with events and activations, keep the content plan moving, and help shape a brand that people want to talk about.
Working alongside the Marketing Manager, this is a highly practical role for someone who is comfortable creating content, writing copy, filming on the fly, attending events, managing relationships, and staying close to culture. The role suits someone who naturally thinks in content, spends a lot of time on TikTok, and likes being out in the field.
Social media and content
- Take ownership of the everyday running of FELLR’s Instagram and TikTok, including posting, scheduling, community engagement and growth.
- Capture and produce content at shoots, activations, events and day-to-day moments in a phone-first, native style that fits the brand.
- Maintain the monthly content calendar across products and channels.
- Track trends, audio, formats and cultural moments, then bring timely ideas to the team.
- Source, organise and repost user-generated content from the FELLR community.
- Assist with paid social by identifying strong-performing organic content that can be boosted.
Creator and influencer coordination
- Handle day-to-day communication with FELLR’s creator network, including briefs, delivery coordination and content tracking.
- Help discover new creators and cultural voices that fit the FELLR brand world.
- Organise gifting, seeding and product shipments for creators, media contacts and brand partners.
- Review creator outputs to ensure they match the brief, meet deadlines and stay on brand.
PR and earned media support
- Assist with PR execution by drafting materials, organising media sends and following up with contacts.
- Help maintain the media database and develop relationships with journalists, editors and culture writers.
- Monitor coverage of FELLR and the wider category, and flag relevant mentions and opportunities.
- Draft pitch notes, press collateral and post-campaign media summaries.
Events and activations
- Support the planning and coordination of events and activations, including logistics, run sheets and supplier communication.
- Attend key festivals, brand activations, music events and trade nights to capture content and represent the brand on site.
- Manage event materials, stock logistics, venue communication and post-event reporting.
- Work with the Marketing Manager and Field Manager on broader activation planning.
Partnerships and marketing administration
- Assist with brand partnership coordination by tracking deliverables, managing communication and ensuring assets are delivered on schedule.
- Support partner events by making sure stock arrives on time, the brand is visible, and content is captured and repurposed afterwards.
- Keep marketing folders, asset libraries, campaign calendars and approval records well organised.
- Help with purchase orders, supplier coordination and general marketing admin.
- Prepare reports and recaps on social performance, event outcomes and campaign results.
Experience and background
The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience in marketing, social media, events, PR or brand coordination, either in-house or through an agency. Hands-on experience running social accounts and creating Instagram and TikTok content is important, and experience with events, activations or brand partnerships will be highly valued. Background in drinks, music, fashion, lifestyle or another cultural brand is considered a strong advantage.
Skills and personal qualities
You should be highly comfortable with Instagram and TikTok, not only as a user but as a content maker and community manager. A strong visual instinct is important, along with a clear sense of what will capture attention and feel authentic to the brand. The role also requires strong organisation, reliability, deadline management and the ability to stay across many moving parts.
Confident communication is essential, as you will deal with creators, venue teams, journalists and suppliers. Basic knowledge of tools such as Canva and CapCut, or similar quick-edit platforms, will also help.
The ideal person is closely connected to Australian culture, knows what is happening and who is emerging, enjoys travelling to events and activations, takes pride in quality execution, acts independently, and genuinely enjoys independent brands.
What the company offers
- A competitive salary package, based on experience.
- Real ownership across the marketing function, including strategy, budget, team coordination and execution.
- Direct access to the co-founders, with fewer layers and faster decision-making.
- The opportunity to help shape an independent Australian brand at a key growth point.
- A culture that values ideas, execution and momentum.
- FELLR product allowance.
- Regular interstate travel for activations, events and distributor engagement.
How to apply
Applicants are asked to email a CV and a short cover note to [email protected] and use the subject line “Marketing Manager Application”.
They should also include an example of an Instagram or TikTok campaign or project they have worked on, and explain how they think about content. In addition, they should share a recent brand, event or cultural moment that they believe was executed especially well on social media, and explain why.
