Job description
About the role
This position sits within the lotteries marketing team and offers the chance to help shape campaigns from concept through to delivery. You will support the planning and rollout of marketing and digital activity, keep the website updated, assist with prize package development, and help coordinate prize fulfilment. The work is varied and contributes directly to campaigns that reach thousands of people across Western Australia and support research for people living with neurological conditions.
You will be part of a collaborative, high-energy team and work alongside a Senior Marketing Officer who will provide guidance and mentoring. The role is well suited to someone at an early stage of their marketing career who wants hands-on exposure to campaigns and a clear path for development.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with the delivery of marketing activity across digital, social, email, web, print, and related channels.
- Help run digital campaigns under the direction of the Senior Marketing Officer.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers so deliverables are completed on time and to the required standard.
- Support the creation and improvement of prize packages, including lottery draw coordination and winner prize delivery.
- Gather quotes, assist with procurement tasks, and help maintain smooth campaign operations.
- Contribute ideas to the creative process and not just the execution of tasks.
Required experience and qualifications
- A tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or a closely related discipline.
- Some practical exposure to marketing, such as a prior role, placement, internship, or agency experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear content.
- Comfort using digital and office tools, including CMS platforms, email marketing systems, social media, and Microsoft Office.
- A proactive attitude, curiosity, and willingness to take initiative.
- NDIS Clearance and a Workers Orientation Module Certificate.
Desirable experience
- Experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, or similar marketing platforms.
- Background in lotteries, fundraising, real estate, or the not-for-profit sector.
- Prior agency-side marketing experience.
Why this role stands out
- Access to generous leave benefits.
- Salary packaging available up to $18,550.
- Retail discounts with major brands including Woolworths, JB Hi-Fi, Apple, MYER, and Virgin Australia.
- Health and wellbeing support.
- Flexible working options, including a 9-day fortnight, work-from-home arrangements, and a strong focus on work-life balance.
- Ongoing opportunities for professional development.
