Job description

Role overview

Meta is looking for a senior marketing leader to drive wearables marketing across the APAC region. This position owns regional market strategy, integrated go-to-market execution, and the full creative and media approach. It plays a key role in shaping the category story, leading launches, and supporting long-term growth through close collaboration with Product Marketing, Retail, Sales/Partnerships, Communications, and external agency partners.

The role also carries responsibility for overall business health. That includes monitoring sales, tracking leading indicators of brand strength and performance, spotting risks early, and bringing important mitigation options and decision requests to leadership.

Key responsibilities

  • Build the APAC strategy for category leadership by defining multi-quarter market plans, including target audiences, channel roles, and investment priorities, while shaping narratives and use cases that resonate locally across the region.
  • Lead launch and go-to-market execution from end to end, including planning, readiness, message alignment, cross-functional governance, and post-launch learning for releases and high-priority moments.
  • Set the creative direction by developing the strategy and messaging framework, writing strong briefs, guiding external agencies and production partners, and ensuring the work is both high-quality and effective across channels.
  • Own media strategy for APAC, including budget allocation across the funnel, partnering with internal teams and media agencies to plan, launch, measure, optimize, and run experimentation or test-and-learn programs against KPIs.
  • Work closely with Retail teams to improve the in-store experience through demo planning, merchandising inputs, training support, retail events, and measurement.
  • Partner with Sales and Partnerships teams to create co-marketing plans with major accounts such as marketplaces, large-format retail, specialty electronics, and operators where relevant, including partner toolkits and governance.
  • Run operating cadences such as weekly check-ins, monthly business reviews, and quarterly business review inputs.
  • Track business health signals including launch readiness, partner execution, brand and demand performance, and budget pacing; identify risks early, drive mitigation plans with owners and timelines, and escalate key issues with clear context, options, trade-offs, and decision needs.
  • Steward the budget and resources by planning, pacing, scenario modeling, and prioritizing investments across launches, always-on activity, retail, and partner programs to maximize return on investment.

Requirements

  • At least 15 years of experience in integrated marketing, go-to-market, product or category marketing, or brand/performance marketing, ideally in consumer tech, devices, or retail.
  • Strong track record of setting and delivering market-level strategy across APAC countries.
  • Hands-on experience managing media strategy and budget allocation, with a focus on performance management and optimization.
  • Proven capability in creative strategy and briefing, along with experience directing creative and media agencies toward strong outcomes.
  • Successful cross-functional leadership through influence with Product Marketing, Product, Retail, Sales/Partnerships, Communications, and Analytics teams.
  • Experience communicating with executives, managing stakeholders, and making progress in ambiguous or uncertain situations.
  • Preferred: experience with incrementality testing, brand lift studies, and mixed-method measurement.
  • Preferred: background in APAC retail programs such as in-store demos, merchandising, promoter training, and retail events.
  • Preferred: active development of AI-related skills, such as prompt/context engineering and agent orchestration, and familiarity with emerging AI technologies.
  • Preferred: experience marketing hardware or devices such as smart glasses, wearables, or smartphones.
  • Preferred: experience leading partner go-to-market work with major accounts and managing co-marketing governance.
  • Preferred: ability to use AI tools to redesign workflows and produce measurable gains in efficiency or quality.
  • Preferred: understanding of responsible and ethical AI practices, including risk assessment, bias mitigation, and review processes for quality and accuracy.
