The Role
This position is for an experienced Marketing Manager to support a two-person marketing team and improve CacheFly’s overall marketing performance. It is a part-time remote role with about 20 hours of work each week and some flexibility in scheduling. The role also requires roughly four hours of overlap with Eastern Time business hours.
You will work closely with the Head of Marketing while taking ownership of a wide range of marketing work, including campaigns, paid media, social channels, website improvements, content, and future podcast-related initiatives. The company is looking for someone who works independently, identifies priorities quickly, and takes action without needing constant direction.
CacheFly is especially interested in candidates with experience in CDN and technology-focused environments.
Responsibilities
- Plan, write, and launch integrated marketing campaigns from start to finish, including execution of the campaign copy and sequences.
- Build, oversee, and improve paid media programs across Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and retargeting, while managing budget and performance reporting.
- Lead website conversion work, including a refresh of the site’s copy, structure, landing pages, and ongoing CRO updates.
- Create and run a social media approach suited to a B2B technology audience, with an understanding of the most effective channels.
- Identify relevant conferences and industry events and support CacheFly’s presence at them.
- Develop and manage email sequences and nurture campaigns with minimal supervision.
- Help repurpose webinars, conversations, or podcast material into content for social, email, and campaigns as the function grows.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of marketing experience, with strong exposure to B2B technology companies.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of marketing functions end to end.
- Practical experience running paid media campaigns on Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and retargeting platforms.
- Excellent writing ability for campaign messaging, nurture sequences, website copy, and social content.
- Hands-on experience contributing to or leading a website redesign and conversion optimization strategy.
- Confidence building a social presence and choosing the most relevant channels for a technical B2B audience.
- Comfort working in a startup or lean-team setting with multiple responsibilities.
- Availability for about 4 hours of overlap with Eastern Time working hours.
- Ability to manage priorities and deliverables in a part-time schedule of approximately 20 hours per week.
- Background in CDN, streaming, or related infrastructure technology is a strong advantage.
