Job description

About CacheFly

CacheFly has spent more than 20 years helping power streaming, gaming, and digital experiences for organizations around the world. The company moves quickly, values customer impact, and operates with a compact team built on trust, ownership, and autonomy.

The Opportunity

CacheFly is hiring an experienced Marketing Manager to strengthen and improve the company’s marketing operations. This part-time position is expected to average about 20 hours each week, with scheduling flexibility and roughly four hours of overlap with Eastern Time business hours.

You will partner closely with the Head of Marketing, but you will also be expected to take full ownership of a wide range of work across campaigns, paid advertising, social channels, the website, content, and later, podcast-related content development. The role suits someone who can identify priorities independently and move them forward without heavy supervision.

The company is especially interested in candidates with experience in CDN and technology-related businesses.

Key Work Areas

  • Plan, write, and launch integrated marketing campaigns from start to finish.
  • Set up, manage, and improve Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and retargeting initiatives while staying accountable for budget and reporting.
  • Lead a website refresh with a conversion focus, including updates to messaging, page structure, landing pages, and ongoing CRO improvements.
  • Shape and execute a social media approach for a B2B technical audience, including channel selection and content direction.
  • Identify relevant conferences and industry events and help the company represent itself effectively.
  • Create and maintain email sequences and nurture flows independently.
  • Support future podcast and repurposed-content efforts by turning webinars, conversations, or episodes into usable social, email, and campaign assets.

Requirements

This role calls for a seasoned marketing professional with substantial experience in B2B technology environments and a track record of working independently. Candidates should be comfortable owning marketing functions end-to-end rather than only contributing to them.

Strong hands-on experience with paid media platforms is important, especially Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and retargeting. The ideal candidate is also an excellent writer who can produce effective campaign copy, email sequences, website content, and social posts.

Experience leading or materially contributing to a website overhaul and conversion-rate strategy is expected. Applicants should also know how to build a meaningful social presence for a technical B2B audience and understand which platforms are worth prioritizing.

Success in lean, fast-moving startup environments is important, along with the ability to manage priorities independently while working part-time. The role also requires approximately four hours of overlap with Eastern Time business hours.

Experience in CDN, streaming, or closely related infrastructure technology is considered a strong advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Pay range of $60 to $75 per hour.
  • Remote-first working setup.
  • All national holidays are observed as time off.
  • Annual $3,000 work-from-home allowance, plus a monthly internet/phone or coworking stipend.
  • 401(k) plan with a 4% Safe Harbor match that is fully vested from day one for eligible U.S.-based employees.
  • Medical, dental, vision, LTD/STD, and life coverage, with most premiums covered for eligible U.S.-based employees.
  • Access to modern tools and resources to support strong performance in the role.
  • A people-focused culture built around fair pay, respect, authenticity, and performance.

Additional Information

This position is part-time at approximately 20 hours per week. Benefits marked for U.S.-based employees only are replaced with equivalent value or country-specific benefits for team members outside the United States where applicable.
