Role Overview
This role is for an experienced strategic marketer to join the regional marketing team and shape integrated campaigns that support business growth, strengthen brand visibility, and advance priority initiatives across the energy sector in Europe and India. The position is highly visible and blends strategy, stakeholder management, campaign delivery, and performance analysis.
Core Responsibilities
You will be responsible for planning and delivering marketing initiatives that align with business priorities, identifying new growth opportunities, leading brand campaigns and major regional events, and supporting marketing operations and reporting. The role also requires close collaboration with internal teams and leadership to ensure consistent brand and messaging execution.
Strategic Marketing and Growth
- Design and execute marketing campaigns that support the company’s strategic business goals.
- Work with the Strategic Marketing Lead to uncover and activate promising growth areas.
- Create go-to-market plans for new services and offerings.
- Apply SOSTAC or similar planning methods to structure campaign development and delivery.
- Promote a client-first, market-led perspective across the team and among business stakeholders.
Brand Campaigns and Events
- Lead the planning and execution of high-value brand events and related campaign activity across business units.
- Manage event strategy, coordination, content, logistics, and post-event follow-up to maximize return on investment.
- Work with content, creative, communications, and digital teams to deliver coordinated multi-channel campaigns.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build productive relationships with internal partners such as Client Account Managers, Sector Leaders, and regional and global MarComms teams.
- Advise business leaders on marketing best practices and brand positioning.
- Ensure regional marketing plans stay aligned with global brand direction and messaging.
Marketing Operations and Performance
- Support marketing operations, including budget monitoring, reporting, and governance.
- Track campaign results using analytics tools and adjust activity based on insights.
- Help prepare monthly dashboards and ROI reports for senior leaders.
- Support the creation and rollout of marketing processes and approval workflows.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in strategic marketing, ideally in a B2B setting or a similar environment.
- Proven ability to build and implement marketing strategies that deliver measurable growth in complex, competitive markets.
- Capability to align regional plans with broader global objectives.
- Strong client engagement skills and experience using marketing to strengthen relationships and support sales.
- Leadership experience working with distributed teams and large groups of technical specialists.
- Hands-on experience using analytics tools to measure performance and improve ROI.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Ability to spot emerging trends and convert them into practical actions.
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment with changing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Cultural awareness, especially in relation to European and Indian markets.
- Focus on measurable outcomes and strong marketing effectiveness.
