The position is suited to an experienced communications professional who can lead high-impact marketing and messaging initiatives across social media, public relations, and internal communications. You will work in a fast-moving SaaS environment, partner with teams across marketing, HR, leadership, and creative functions, and help shape consistent brand communication across internal and external channels. The role also includes using data, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve communication effectiveness and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and execute social media programs, including content calendars, publishing, scheduling, community interaction, social listening, and performance tracking across digital platforms.
- Support external communications efforts through public relations coordination, byline planning, award submissions, and employee advocacy initiatives that expand thought leadership.
- Work closely with marketing, creative, and subject matter experts to keep messaging aligned and consistent across all outward-facing communications.
- Review communication results, interpret engagement data, and introduce scalable improvements, including AI-supported solutions, to improve productivity and outcomes.
- Maintain internal communication plans and calendars, sharing timely updates that inform, engage, and align employees with company priorities.
- Collaborate with HR, business leaders, and executives to create organization-wide messages, quarterly communications, and culture-building initiatives.
- Contribute to additional marketing and communications projects as needed while keeping quality, consistency, and teamwork top of mind.
Experience and skills required
- At least 5 years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, with hands-on involvement in social media, public relations, internal communications, and project coordination.
- Strong ability to write, edit, and manage polished content for social channels, external messaging, and thought leadership pieces.
- Good understanding of B2B social media practices, employee advocacy, audience engagement, and digital analytics.
- Experience with social media management, automation, and scheduling tools, along with the ability to evaluate and improve campaign performance.
- Strong organization and project management capability, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and work across different teams.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with a strong eye for detail.
- Analytical and improvement-oriented mindset, with comfort using data to guide experimentation and decisions.
- Ability to build effective cross-functional relationships and contribute confidently to high-visibility communications work.
- Experience in multi-product SaaS environments or exposure to EHS, ESG, or compliance technology is a plus.
Compensation and benefits
- Annual salary range of CAD 90,650 to CAD 111,750, depending on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
- Medical and dental coverage.
- Retirement savings plan with employer match.
- Paid time off and inclusive parental leave.
- Remote-first work model with flexible scheduling.
- Monthly home office stipend to support remote work needs.
- Tuition assistance for education, certifications, and advanced degrees.
- Professional growth opportunities such as job shadowing and one-on-one coaching.
- Corporate wellness programs and personalized preventive mental health support.
- Reduced working hours on Summer Fridays during the summer season.
Application and hiring process
The application review process is supported by an AI-powered matching system that screens candidates against the role’s core requirements before sharing a shortlist with the hiring company. Final decisions, interviews, and assessments are managed internally by the employer.
