About the Role
SAME Los Angeles is seeking a highly strategic, creative, and forward-thinking Marketing Manager to spearhead the brand's marketing efforts across digital platforms, retail channels, strategic partnerships, product launches, and customer engagement initiatives. This position is perfect for an individual with a deep understanding of the fashion, luxury, and cultural landscapes, who excels at building brand recognition while simultaneously driving tangible business growth. The Marketing Manager will be instrumental in crafting the brand's narrative across all customer touchpoints, managing campaign execution, fostering brand partnerships, developing launch strategies, overseeing retail marketing, and coordinating cross-functional marketing projects. A background in luxury fashion or lifestyle brands, coupled with expertise in both creative storytelling and performance-driven marketing, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead and implement brand marketing initiatives spanning eCommerce, retail, wholesale, new product launches, strategic alliances, and promotional campaigns.
- Develop and manage seasonal marketing calendars that align with product releases, store openings, retail activities, and critical business milestones.
- Direct the strategy and execution of campaigns through email, SMS, paid advertising, partnerships, events, and customer marketing programs.
- Collaborate closely with creative, public relations, social media, eCommerce, and retail departments to ensure a unified brand story across all communication channels.
- Assist in the planning and execution of photoshoots, product launches, special events, gifting programs, and brand activation activities.
- Manage relationships with external agencies, marketing service providers, and key strategic partners.
- Analyze campaign performance metrics and customer engagement data to refine and optimize future marketing strategies.
- Support efforts to acquire new customers, retain existing ones, and enhance brand visibility across both digital and physical retail environments.
- Contribute to the development of marketing strategies for physical retail locations, temporary pop-up shops, and international market expansions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends in fashion, luxury goods, culture, and digital marketing to inform and enhance the brand's market position and growth trajectory.
- Ensure all external marketing communications reflect the brand's sophisticated aesthetic, distinct voice, and established positioning.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 to 7 years of professional experience in marketing within the fashion, luxury, beauty, or lifestyle sectors.
- A robust understanding of brand marketing principles, campaign development methodologies, and customer engagement strategies.
- Demonstrated experience in managing campaigns across email marketing, SMS, strategic partnerships, retail marketing, and paid media channels.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and project management capabilities.
- A keen eye for branding, luxury market positioning, and compelling visual storytelling.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects effectively within a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
- A collaborative, proactive, and highly solution-oriented approach to work.
- Prior experience with platforms such as Shopify, Klaviyo, Google Workspace, and various marketing analytics tools is advantageous.
- A genuine passion for fashion, luxury products, design, and contemporary culture.
Additional Details
This is a full-time, in-person position located in Santa Monica, California. Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This role is ideally suited for a candidate who possesses a strong grasp of both the creative and strategic facets of luxury brand marketing and is eager to contribute to the ongoing expansion of SAME.
