Job description
About the Role
This position supports the execution of high-quality marketing activity for a collection of luxury fragrance brands across the UK and Ireland. Working alongside the Marketing Manager, you will help roll out global brand programmes in a way that fits the local market, with a strong focus on premium brand presentation, retail activation, and consumer engagement.
The role suits someone who enjoys a fast-moving, collaborative environment and brings strong attention to detail, creativity, commercial understanding, and genuine interest in luxury brands.
Key Responsibilities
Performance for this role will be assessed against annual wholesale and retail sales targets for each brand, along with NPD ranking outcomes, A&P budget control, profitability, and the successful delivery of agreed brand marketing initiatives.
- Assist the Marketing Manager in planning and delivering integrated 360 marketing campaigns for the UK and Ireland.
- Work with external creative partners to produce promotional websites and window displays that follow global brand standards and stay within budget.
- Coordinate closely with Sales and Education teams so that all campaigns and store activations are communicated clearly and implemented effectively across retail teams.
- Work with boutique managers and oversee the boutique marketing calendar to ensure local partnerships remain on-brand and are delivered in line with brand guidelines.
- Support the PR and Communications Manager with the planning, coordination, execution, and reporting of KOL and customer events, especially during major retail periods and new product launches.
- Track the results of local campaigns, events, and activations, then prepare reporting and insights to evaluate impact and guide future activity.
- Collaborate with retail partners on in-store activations, including preparing proposals and obtaining approvals.
- Help develop retailer strategy presentations.
- Partner with internal teams such as Education, Communications, and Commercial to improve alignment and visibility across marketing activity.
- Coordinate with global marketing teams on local strategy to maintain consistency with key launch plans.
- Maintain budget trackers for PR and Marketing and ensure spending remains aligned with forecasts.
- Arrange prompt payment of external suppliers.
- Distribute presentations and supporting materials cross-functionally in line with global deadlines.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of marketing experience.
- A solid understanding of how Sales and Marketing work together in a retail, brand, or trade marketing environment.
- Working knowledge of the UK high-end department store trade, ideally within beauty.
- Confident use of MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- French language skills would be an advantage.
- Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable taking ownership in a growing market.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent presentation ability.
- Balanced analytical and creative thinking.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Highly organised, flexible, collaborative, and able to juggle several priorities while meeting deadlines efficiently.
- Ability to build strong working relationships and support team goals.
- Strong customer empathy and a polished manner suited to a luxury environment.
- Confident, dynamic, and comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Postgraduate study or professional marketing certification such as CIM is beneficial.
- Ongoing professional development or a clear interest in luxury, beauty, or fragrance is preferred.
Work Arrangement
This is a London-based office role in EC1, with at least three days per week in the office and the option to work from home for one to two days each week. The role also involves travel across the UK and Ireland.
