Job description

About the role

Fisher & Paykel is a globally recognised appliance brand with deep local roots. The company’s culture is shaped by curiosity and a passion for creating people-centred solutions. Working across premium brands in a fast-moving international environment, the business remains strongly connected to its New Zealand heritage.

The marketing function is central to turning strategy into action, linking commercial and product priorities with customers through smart, insight-driven activity across the New Zealand market.

Role purpose

As Marketing Executive, you will report to the General Manager of Marketing and help drive the planning, delivery, measurement and improvement of mid- and lower-funnel marketing activity in New Zealand for Fisher & Paykel and Haier.

This position is mainly about local execution. You will support marketing managers and specialists in converting commercial and product priorities into practical plans, useful insights and reporting that contribute to strong business results.

You will work across end-to-end campaigns and multiple customer touchpoints, coordinating closely with both global and local teams. Your work will also support product marketing activity such as new product launches, promotional campaigns and category initiatives, ensuring everything stays on-brand, relevant to the local market and delivered on schedule.

What the role involves

  • Support the planning, rollout, measurement and refinement of marketing activity across the mid and lower funnel.
  • Assist with turning business and product priorities into clear local marketing plans.
  • Coordinate multi-channel campaigns and related customer touchpoints.
  • Work with global and local stakeholders to keep campaigns aligned and effective.
  • Contribute to product marketing initiatives, including launches, promotions and category activity.
  • Prepare, interpret and present performance data to support optimisation and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with specialist teams such as digital, social, PR and creative.
  • Help ensure marketing activity is timely, locally relevant and consistent with brand standards.

About you

You are a well-rounded marketer with experience in planning and executing campaigns, ideally in consumer goods or within a premium brand setting. You can take a broader strategy and turn it into practical, organised activity that delivers results.

You are highly structured, detail-focused and comfortable managing several priorities at once. You work well with a range of stakeholders and are confident using data to build reports, explain performance and inform improvements. Experience in digital marketing would be an advantage, and exposure to a global or matrixed organisation would be beneficial.

You bring sound judgement, initiative and accountability. You are comfortable working across both the luxury and mass-market segments through Fisher & Paykel and Haier. You are proactive, curious and collaborative, and you are willing to ask questions, challenge ideas constructively and keep looking for better ways to improve marketing effectiveness. A degree in Marketing, Business or a related field is preferred.

What’s on offer

  • The chance to build your career in a large, complex global organisation within the Haier group, with strong New Zealand roots and broad business exposure.
  • Diverse work and challenging projects with ongoing opportunities to learn and grow.
  • A competitive salary.
  • Flexible working arrangements.
  • Continuous development support.
  • Generous discounts on Fisher & Paykel and Haier products.
  • Life and disability insurance.
  • Discounted medical cover.
  • Access to a family leave offering.
  • Free on-site parking.

Application note

Applicants are asked to submit a CV and cover letter.
