Job description

About Bluebird Kids Health

Bluebird Kids Health is a mission-led pediatric care organization focused on expanding access for underserved families through value-based primary care. The company provides comprehensive, evidence-based care for children and their families, with 24/7 support, strong care coordination, chronic disease management, and broader population health services. Success is defined by better health outcomes, lower costs, an excellent child and family experience, and a fulfilling environment for clinicians and staff.

The organization currently operates 6 practices across Palm Beach, Broward, and Jacksonville, and plans to grow to 15+ Florida locations by 2027.

Role Overview

Bluebird Kids Health is hiring an entrepreneurial, field-focused Marketing Events Manager to grow and scale its events channel as a source of new patient acquisition. The role reports to the Director of Growth and is a full-time exempt position based in Florida.

Preferred locations are Broward or Palm Beach, though Orlando or Jacksonville are also acceptable. This is a hands-on position with substantial time spent in the field at events, working with families, coaching team members, collecting insights, and improving execution across markets.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and expand Bluebird’s events-driven growth channel to support new patient acquisition.
  • Plan and run owned events and community event participation, including meet-and-greets, educational sessions, and community baby showers.
  • Spot what is working, scale effective programs, and retire initiatives that do not produce results.
  • Create, test, and launch new event ideas, educational offerings, and community engagement programs based on family needs and business goals.
  • Continuously refine event formats, messaging, guest experience, and conversion tactics.
  • Use field feedback and data insights to turn successful experiments into repeatable playbooks.
  • Define and monitor metrics such as attendance, lead generation, lead quality, new patient conversions, and cost efficiency.
  • Review performance by event type, market, and audience to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Diagnose underperformance quickly and implement corrective actions.
  • Build scalable systems, operating procedures, toolkits, training materials, and playbooks for market-level execution.
  • Equip Community Outreach Coordinators and other field teams with the resources needed to perform well.
  • Spend significant time onsite at events, engaging families, coaching staff, and representing Bluebird professionally.
  • Serve as a strong ambassador for the organization with families, partners, and outside stakeholders.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in field marketing, community growth, experiential marketing, events, startup operations, campaign field operations, community engagement, or similar work.
  • Comfort building programs from the ground up and turning early wins into scalable systems.
  • Strong comfort with data analysis, performance tracking, and making recommendations from results.
  • Highly target-driven with a strong sense of ownership and persistence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build trust across diverse stakeholders.
  • Willingness to be in the field regularly and lead by example.
  • Ability to work in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and influence outcomes across teams without direct authority.
  • Outgoing, warm, and confident in representing the brand publicly.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends when event coverage requires it.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • Bilingual English-Spanish ability is a plus.
  • Bluebird Kids Health also notes that candidates who do not meet every listed requirement, including those with non-traditional backgrounds, are encouraged to apply if they bring strong potential and a willingness to learn.

What Bluebird Offers

  • The chance to support high-quality outreach and engagement work in a mission-driven pediatric care organization.
  • Competitive pay with performance incentives and, for some positions, equity participation.
  • A collaborative environment with meaningful opportunities for professional growth.
  • An inclusive workplace culture that values every team member’s contribution.
  • Medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage.
  • Additional benefits such as employee assistance, caregiver support, commuter benefits, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, short- and long-term disability coverage, and other employee programs.
  • Generous paid time off.
