Job description
Company Overview
Fintech Investor is a private investment firm that seeks out distinctive, category-defining fintech ventures with the capacity to deliver large-scale impact and evolve into the next wave of fintech unicorns. Although fintech is its main focus, the investor also evaluates exceptional opportunities outside the sector across a range of industries. The portfolio spans promising early-stage startups as well as high-upside public companies. The team follows market developments closely, shares updates, and highlights swing-trade ideas when attractive opportunities appear, creating an energetic setting that calls for sharp, strategic marketing leadership.
Role Overview
This remote, full-time position is for a Marketing Director who will shape and run the organization’s broader marketing direction. The goal is to strengthen the investor’s brand, communicate its portfolio priorities, and present its market perspective effectively across digital channels and professional networks. The role sits at the intersection of marketing, research, and investment storytelling.
Core Responsibilities
In this role, you will plan, launch, and optimize marketing initiatives that support the investor’s brand and visibility. You will oversee messaging across social media, email, and thought leadership content, while working closely with investment and research teams to turn market insights into clear public-facing narratives. You will review market trends, measure campaign outcomes, refine positioning using performance data, and help expand deal flow by increasing awareness among founders, co-investors, and ecosystem contacts. The position also includes managing budgets, coordinating with outside vendors or agencies when needed, and maintaining a polished, compliant, and consistent brand presence.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate brings solid experience in marketing and marketing management, especially in fast-moving or growth-oriented environments. You should be comfortable leading integrated marketing efforts, conducting market planning and research, and using data to guide decisions. Experience working with sales teams or investor relations functions is valuable for building pipelines, relationships, and community engagement. You should also have hands-on experience with digital campaigns, including content, social, email, and brand-building work, plus a strong grasp of analytics and KPI-based optimization. Clear writing and strong speaking skills are essential, particularly the ability to simplify complex financial or technical ideas into persuasive messaging. Background in fintech, financial services, or technology is preferred, and experience in startup or investor ecosystems is a strong advantage. A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline is required; advanced study or professional certifications are a plus. The role suits someone who can operate independently in a remote, globally distributed environment, handle multiple priorities, and collaborate across time zones.
Additional Information
This is a full-time remote position based in the United States. No stipend or salary details were provided.
