Role overview
A growing FMCG business is seeking a seasoned Marketing Director to shape and lead its brand, category, and commercial marketing direction across regional as well as international markets. This is a senior leadership position for someone who combines commercial thinking with deep FMCG and manufacturing experience, and who ideally understands Middle Eastern consumers and market dynamics.
The person in this role will be central to brand expansion, innovation, consumer connection, and market development in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
Key responsibilities
- Set and deliver the organisation’s wider brand and marketing roadmap.
- Oversee brand positioning, category planning, and consumer-focused marketing activity.
- Support innovation planning and new product development with manufacturing and commercial stakeholders.
- Create effective go-to-market approaches for retail, wholesale, and distributor networks.
- Review market movements, customer feedback, and competitor actions to uncover growth opportunities.
- Lead trade, digital, and activation campaigns that improve visibility and business outcomes.
- Coordinate closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and Manufacturing teams to keep priorities aligned.
- Handle agency partners, media strategy, and marketing spend management.
- Guide, coach, and strengthen a high-performing marketing team.
- Track campaign results, return on investment, and broader brand health.
Candidate profile
- Demonstrated success in a senior marketing leadership position within FMCG.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing-driven businesses and operational settings.
- Proven ability to develop and manage brands across multiple geographies.
- Experience in Middle Eastern markets is a strong advantage.
- Strong capability in brand management, trade marketing, category development, and consumer insight.
- A commercially minded approach with strong strategic and analytical skills.
- Experience partnering with sales and distribution functions.
- Well-developed leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing business environment.
