About the Role

Sangoma is a worldwide communications technology company providing Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS), Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS), Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS), managed services, and AI-driven communication tools. The company’s purpose is to help organizations improve connection, collaboration, and customer experience through essential communications solutions.

The organization is looking for a seasoned, outcome-focused Marketing Director to own demand generation, marketing operations, public relations, event marketing, and channel partner marketing programs. This position is intended to strengthen the brand and support growth in SMB and mid-market markets.

This is a senior leadership role that partners closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and executive stakeholders to increase pipeline, improve market visibility, and support revenue goals across direct and partner-led channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and run integrated growth programs across paid media, email, lifecycle journeys, content, SEO, website improvements, and marketing automation to generate qualified leads and drive revenue.
  • Design partner-led acquisition plans with Sales and Channel leaders, while also supporting customer retention, expansion, and upsell efforts through Customer Success.
  • Own marketing systems and operations, including technology platforms, lead management, routing, campaign execution, attribution, and performance tracking; partner with CRM, Revenue Operations, and Analytics teams to improve results.
  • Lead PR, communications, analyst relations, thought leadership, and media outreach to build stronger market credibility and brand recognition, working closely with Design to maintain consistent messaging.
  • Direct the planning and execution of events such as corporate gatherings, partner conferences, trade shows, webinars, customer events, and sponsored industry programs, including budgets, vendors, logistics, and coordination across teams.
  • Collaborate across Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Design, Revenue Operations, and Executive Leadership to align go-to-market priorities and maximize business impact.
  • Coach and develop the marketing team, oversee external agencies and vendors, and encourage a culture of testing, accountability, agility, innovation, and ongoing improvement.

Experience and Requirements

  • 6 to 11+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, including at least 3 to 5 years in a leadership role managing and growing high-performing teams.
  • Proven track record of building demand generation programs that produce measurable pipeline growth, new customer acquisition, and revenue impact.
  • Background in SaaS, cloud communications, telecommunications, UCaaS, CCaaS, CPaaS, MSP, or similar technology environments.
  • Strong knowledge of channel and partner marketing, including work with VARs, MSPs, distributors, master agents, technology partners, and reseller ecosystems.
  • Experience building partner campaigns, co-branded marketing, joint go-to-market plans, lead-sharing models, and partner enablement initiatives.
  • Deep hands-on expertise in demand generation, digital marketing, website optimization, marketing operations, lead management, and marketing analytics.
  • Ability to manage marketing budgets across channels with a focus on ROI, attribution, and performance measurement.
  • Practical experience using tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, WordPress, Figma, Jira, and related automation, CRM, and project management systems.
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to use funnel data, campaign metrics, and business insights to guide strategy.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience speaking to executives, customers, partners, analysts, media, and industry audiences.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Customer Success, Engineering, Revenue Operations, and leadership teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, agile environment while protecting brand quality and maintaining a customer- and partner-first mindset.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience marketing products in Unified Communications, Contact Center, Voice, Telecommunications, Cloud Communications, AI-powered business applications, or similar areas.
  • Exposure to both direct sales and channel-driven go-to-market models.
  • Knowledge of partner programs, MDF administration, partner recruitment, and channel enablement.
  • Experience leading public relations, analyst relations, thought leadership, and corporate communications efforts.
  • Background managing corporate events, trade shows, partner conferences, and customer-facing campaigns.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive benefits package that includes health, vision, dental, and long-term and short-term disability coverage after a brief waiting period.
  • 401(k) matching program with 100% match on contributions up to 4%.
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan available after one year of service.
  • Flexible time off along with company holidays.
  • Entrepreneurial environment with strong opportunities for career growth.
