Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled designer to join our Brand & Marketing Design team. You will report to the Brand and Marketing Design Director and work alongside the marketing group to create and produce assets supporting Karbon's marketing objectives. This position offers the chance to engage in diverse branding and marketing projects such as web design, event material creation, advertising, social media content, editorial design, and sales enablement collateral. The dynamic company environment means your role will develop with expanding opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Create marketing experiences for web and mobile platforms within complex settings.
- Collaborate on designing long-form materials like ebooks and reports.
- Develop social media visuals and advertising creatives, leveraging AI to generate variations and test ideas efficiently.
- Design presentations, sales support items, and event resources.
- Assist in the design and production of branded merchandise.
- Engage in optimizing conversion points and performing related testing.
- Provide design assistance for internal company projects as needed.
- Maintain consistency in Karbon's brand identity across all touchpoints.
- Stay updated with current design trends and AI advancements, contributing innovative creative strategies and tools.
- Participate in evolving the brand expression collaboratively.
- Work closely with the marketing team during group ideation and project execution.
Required Qualifications and Attributes
- Proficiency with Figma, including directing and refining AI-enhanced design workflows.
- Strong skills in layout and visual design.
- Exceptional organizational capabilities.
- Effective communication and written skills.
- Good understanding of web and digital media environments.
- A passionate approach to ownership of projects through completion.
- Mature ability to critique and discuss work constructively.
- Capacity to work independently once given a brief.
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly in quality-checking creative output against brand guidelines.
- Eagerness for continuous learning and skill expansion.
- Ability to craft confident short-form written content, recognizing writing as part of design.
- Good judgment on when to utilize AI tools for efficiency versus manual creation.
- Capability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Minimum three years of professional experience in marketing-related design.
- Basic video editing skills are a beneficial addition.
- Experience with B2B software brands is advantageous.
- Familiarity with AI-powered design or content tools is essential.
