Job description

Role overview

This opportunity is being handled on behalf of a partner organization, which oversees applications and the subsequent hiring steps. The company is hiring a Marketing Copywriter located in Canada to help define and elevate how a rapidly scaling SaaS business communicates its value to the market.

In this role, you will shape messaging that is clear, consistent, and persuasive across multiple marketing touchpoints. Your writing will connect product capabilities with customer needs, brand positioning, and market demand. Working closely with marketing leadership, you will turn technical or complex software details into accessible copy that supports engagement and conversion. The work environment is collaborative, fast-moving, and heavily content-driven, with an emphasis on speed, precision, and continuous refinement.

You will contribute to a broad mix of initiatives, including campaign materials, website content, buyer-facing educational assets, and product storytelling. This is a high-impact writing position where the quality of the messaging directly influences how the market perceives the product and how the business grows.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain strong clarity, consistency, and quality across marketing messaging in every channel while keeping it aligned with brand positioning and product value.
  • Build a deep understanding of the product so copy accurately represents its actual features, benefits, and use cases.
  • Create and edit marketing assets such as landing pages, website copy, advertisements, email campaigns, buyer guides, video scripts, and product marketing materials.
  • Work with marketing and product stakeholders to translate technical ideas into copy that is clear, engaging, and centered on the customer.
  • Adjust messaging for different audience segments, buyer personas, and stages of the customer journey.
  • Contribute to multi-channel initiatives, including SEO-led content, digital promotions, and campaign assets.
  • Leverage AI tools for research, ideation, and first drafts while ensuring the finished work meets strong editorial standards.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of professional experience in marketing copywriting or content writing, preferably in a SaaS setting.
  • Proven ability to turn complex products or systems into messaging that is simple, persuasive, and easy to understand.
  • Strong writing skills with careful attention to tone, clarity, and audience fit.
  • Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality or detail.
  • Interest in buyer psychology and how messaging affects decisions.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment that involves iteration, feedback, and revisions.
  • Experience using AI tools within modern content workflows is considered an advantage.
  • Exposure to SEO fundamentals, digital marketing channels, and campaign-based content is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and committed to improving both writing craft and messaging strategy.

Benefits

  • Annual compensation of CAD 65,000 to CAD 80,000, depending on experience.
  • Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Life and disability insurance coverage.
  • Health spending account.
  • Flexible working hours with a remote-friendly setup.
  • Training, mentorship, and development opportunities.
  • The chance to contribute to a fast-growing SaaS company with a strong ownership culture.

Additional information

The hiring partner manages the review process, and application shortlisting is handled through an AI-assisted matching system designed to evaluate candidates against the core requirements. Relevant candidate information is then shared with the hiring company, which makes the final hiring decisions and handles interviews and assessments.

By submitting an application, candidates acknowledge that their personal data may be processed for recruitment evaluation and shared with the employer as part of the hiring process, in line with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR. Candidates may exercise rights such as access, correction, deletion, and objection where applicable.

The recruitment process may also use AI-supported tools to help review applications, assess resumes, and identify inconsistencies or verification signals in submitted materials. These tools assist the recruitment team and do not replace human review; final hiring decisions are made by people.
