This role offers significant independence from the outset, with approximately two-thirds of responsibilities centered around developing marketing content and one-third dedicated to organizing and overseeing events.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Organize and execute field events, conferences, client dinners, and other hosted gatherings from initial concept through completion.
- Handle all event logistics including booth design, promotional materials, staffing, attendee registration, travel arrangements, and measurement of event ROI.
- Create engaging marketing assets such as one-pagers, case studies, buying guides, blog articles, video content, and sales support materials.
- Manage and coordinate the social media posting schedule on platforms like LinkedIn, collaborating with colleagues on messaging strategy and positioning.
- Maintain and update the marketing calendar along with project management tools to facilitate webinars, product demos, and presentations to customers.
- Oversee external marketing relationships with vendors, agencies, and partners, continuously seeking operational improvements.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Between 1 to 3 years’ experience in event coordination, marketing operations, or content development.
- Preferably experienced in B2B marketing, ideally in regulated sectors such as insurance, fintech, or pharmaceuticals.
- Proven hands-on skills writing social media copy, managing video production, and developing sales enablement tools.
- Demonstrated success in planning and delivering field events and industry conferences independently.
- Strong project management capabilities and ability to own projects without extensive supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
- Willingness and availability to travel for approximately 6 to 8 events per year.
