Job description

About The Elevatory

The Elevatory is an Australian marketing coaching company that helps owners of service-based and ecommerce businesses grow into multi-six and seven-figure operations. Rather than outsourcing marketing for clients, the company teaches them how to manage it themselves using proven playbooks, templates, and live group coaching.

About the Role

This is not a standard agency advertising position. The team has built an AI platform that takes care of repetitive work such as audits, weekly performance reviews, report drafting, tracking checks, and campaign drafts. The role focuses on the human decisions that AI cannot make: managing client relationships, approving or adjusting live ad spend decisions, and coaching business owners so they truly understand their marketing.

Your day-to-day work will center on higher-value tasks, including reviewing AI-prepared optimisation documents and approving or improving them, leading energetic coaching sessions, and acting as the trusted specialist clients depend on. There is no late-night reporting grind, no constant dashboard watching, and no routine copywriting at odd hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Check, improve, and sign off on AI-created weekly optimisation suggestions, campaign setups, and audit summaries before they are shared with clients or pushed live.
  • Lead two live group coaching sessions each week, helping clients build confidence with Google Ads, GA4, and conversion improvement, supported by AI-prepared session notes.
  • Manage the parts of Google Ads work that require a person, including access, billing setup, policy-related problems, and support escalations.
  • Support client strategy discussions and respond to complex forum questions that are escalated from the AI system.
  • Use your judgment to improve the platform by feeding back corrections whenever you override an AI recommendation.
  • Handle CRM setup and troubleshooting across tools such as ActiveCampaign, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
  • Assist with payment gateway and checkout problems involving Stripe, PayPal, ThriveCart, and native checkout systems.
  • Resolve funnel issues such as forms, tags, triggers, and automated email flows.
  • Implement GTM tags from prepared specifications and support software rollouts and integrations.
  • Occasionally make website adjustments in WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, and Wix.

Requirements

  • Practical Google Ads experience across several accounts, whether in an agency, freelance, or in-house setting, with clear ROAS results for small-business budgets.
  • Solid knowledge of GA4 and conversion tracking, with the ability to identify where a conversion path is failing.
  • Strong coaching ability: you can explain technical advertising concepts in simple language and you enjoy doing it. Prior client-facing or group facilitation experience is required.
  • Comfort working with AI tools every day and seeing them as part of the workflow rather than a threat.
  • Good self-management and confidence working remotely, with availability in Australia.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting both service-based businesses and ecommerce accounts, especially on Shopify.
  • Exposure to coaching or membership-style business models.

Working Arrangements

This is a contractor role with payment based on experience. The schedule is flexible across the week, although the two group coaching calls are fixed. The role is remote within Australia.

Tools and Access

From day one, you will have access to the company’s methodology library as well as its AI platform.

Application Instructions

Email your CV to [email protected] with the subject line “Marketing Coach.” Instead of a cover letter, answer the following in under 300 words total:

  • Describe a Google Ads account you improved, including what was wrong and what you changed.
  • How do you currently use AI in your work?
  • What makes a strong group coaching call?

Leave it if you'd like a reply — we won't use it for anything else.
