Overview

This critical role at PepsiCo India is crafted to advance and embed fundamental marketing capabilities while maintaining direct collaboration with the Global Marketing Capability and Operations team. It focuses on leading the marketing capability initiatives for both the Foods and Beverages segments across India, forming an integral element of PepsiCo's global Powering Positive Growth (PPG) agenda.

The position is pivotal in driving a transformational global program designed to enhance brand-building capacities, support growth priorities such as developing Iconic Brands, deploying the PepsiCo-wide growth model, and executing the Growth Navigator tool. It aims to optimize advertising and marketing efficiencies to reinvest in top markets, key brands, and innovative capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead marketing transformation efforts in India to embed initiatives within International Beverages, focusing on Iconic Brands and driving creative excellence and content innovation.
  • Manage and sustain Marketing Capability & Operations initiatives within PepsiCo India.
  • Execute priority projects aimed at reinforcing culture shifts and integrating Growth Navigator across India’s Foods and Beverages sectors.
  • Collaborate closely with the Chief Marketing Officer of India Foods to orchestrate transformation activities.
  • Act as a proactive change agent fostering PepsiCo’s Consumer Organization evolution in India.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive capability-building calendar covering Growth Navigator, Iconic Brands, and Human Centricity using global marketing academy resources.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and consulting on brand artifacts and growth planning deliverables to enhance quality and impact.
  • Govern key brand deliverable processes, ensuring oversight and leadership accountability.
  • Coordinate with the Global Marketing Capabilities team for agenda alignment and progress tracking.
  • Ensure adoption and proficient use of the latest global marketing tools, frameworks, and templates.
  • Advise the global team on emerging priorities to sustain momentum and influence.
  • Champion creative excellence by advancing innovative practices within the India teams, including regular engagement with global creative forums and townhalls.
  • Manage the Market Creative Reviews protocol and lead external award submissions such as Cannes and Effies, supporting case study development.
  • Oversee the BAM process aligning campaign entries and communications across India to meet strict deadlines and quality standards.
  • Support the rollout of Growth Navigator tools and processes, embedding them into growth planning and enhancing related scorecards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in marketing roles.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership qualities, high agility in learning, and solid organizational skills.
  • Excellent project and timeline management aptitude.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Preferred experience includes knowledge of PepsiCo’s marketing organization, brand management, creative development, and awards participation.
  • Experience in Learning and Development, particularly in training content creation and running centers of excellence, is advantageous.
