Job description
About Click Frenzy
Click Frenzy is an Australian shopping-events brand that has been bringing shoppers together with retail offers from major brands since 2012. The company has recently changed ownership, now backed by the founders of Catch, Menulog and Scoopon, and has relaunched with a renewed focus on building a year-round shopping destination.
The Role
As the Marketing Campaign Manager, you will lead the consumer marketing calendar for Click Frenzy, covering always-on communication as well as large-scale sales events. You will work closely with a 15-person team across marketing, tech, sales and the founders, with broad ownership, variety and a fast pace.
A core part of the job is managing the member database of more than 1.5 million people. You will be responsible for growing it and improving its performance through sharper segmentation, stronger lifecycle journeys, and campaigns that increase opens, clicks and purchases. This role is highly hands-on, and experience using a CRM platform such as Braze, or a comparable tool, is essential.
The environment is startup-like, so you should be comfortable working directly on execution rather than handing work off to an agency. Some weeks will revolve around major events with many moving parts, while others will focus on testing, optimisation and improving the always-on marketing engine.
Key Work Areas
- Manage customer marketing and CRM activity, including the email and lifecycle program for a member base of 1.5 million.
- Plan and deliver marketing campaigns for major shopping events, from launch planning through to final distribution.
- Run the always-on direct marketing program that maintains engagement between event periods.
- Execute paid acquisition and retargeting campaigns that expand the database and support sales growth.
- Build and deliver partner campaigns with leading brands, ensuring the work meets a high standard.
Working Style
You may not always receive a fully formed brief. The business needs someone who can take a broad idea, ask the right questions, and turn it into an effective campaign plan.
Who This Role Suits
This position is best suited to someone with proven customer marketing experience who has previously managed a large database and helped it grow. You should be comfortable using a CRM platform such as Braze or a similar system, and you should be keen to deepen your capability across direct marketing and paid media.
Retail or e-commerce experience will be a strong advantage. The team is looking for someone who thrives in a fast-moving startup-style environment, works well with ambiguity, and brings a low-ego, highly collaborative attitude.
Why Join
This is a permanent full-time opportunity where you will work closely with strong talent, report directly to the former CMO of Afterpay, and partner with founders who have successfully built and scaled major Australian consumer technology businesses.
You will help shape one of Australia’s best-known ecommerce brands during its next growth stage, with genuine responsibility from the start, mentoring from experienced leaders, and the chance to make a visible impact each week in a small, fast-moving team.
