Role overview
This is a practical, hands-on marketing operations role centred on delivering and growing lifecycle marketing programs in Braze. The position involves creating, launching, and improving customer communications across email, push notifications, and in-app messaging. You will turn campaign briefs into fully built lifecycle journeys by defining audiences, configuring triggers, setting up journeys, and deploying campaigns in Braze.
Key responsibilities
- Design and launch lifecycle campaigns in Braze across email, push, and in-app channels, covering both one-time sends and automated journeys.
- Convert marketing briefs into live campaigns efficiently and accurately, including scheduling, approvals, and final deployment.
- Run lifecycle programs that support onboarding, retention, reactivation, and promotional activity.
- Create and maintain Braze Canvas journeys and triggered campaigns, with audience segmentation, targeting, and personalised content using Liquid and dynamic fields.
- Take ownership of campaign quality assurance, checking audience logic, personalisation, and rendering so messages display and deliver correctly across devices and channels.
- Collaborate with designers to produce effective email and in-app creative that supports campaign goals and stays aligned with the brand.
- Work with an external martech agency on complex implementation work, integrations, technical enhancements, and support prioritisation.
- Track engagement and conversion outcomes to find ways to improve targeting, messaging, and send timing.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience building and sending campaigns in Braze.
- Background in lifecycle marketing and triggered communications.
- Experience partnering with design teams on email and lifecycle creative.
- Previous work in SaaS or product-led growth environments.
- Strong grasp of segmentation and personalisation techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and a disciplined approach to campaign QA.
- Working familiarity with data warehouses such as BigQuery.
