Job description
About the Role
Pineway is hiring a marketing assistant to partner closely with the CEO and the social media team. The role is designed for someone who enjoys marketing operations, pays attention to the small things, and likes turning direction into polished execution. The company is a young, fast-growing global startup building an all-in-one platform that helps coaches and consultants manage their businesses from a single place.
This position offers real ownership, a fast pace, and room to grow as the business expands. The ideal person will be proactive, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a setup where the focus is on executing and improving the marketing engine every day.
What You’ll Do
- Build, test, review, and launch email campaigns and automated sequences inside Customer.io.
- Help maintain strong email deliverability and keep sender setup organized and healthy.
- Manage audience lists with clear segmentation into hot, warm, and cold groups based on user behavior such as opens, clicks, and signups.
- Support outbound campaigns in Lemlist across both LinkedIn and email.
- Collect, sort, and organize LinkedIn content ideas and references, then coordinate with the social media team to publish consistently.
- Plan and queue content so the channels stay active and do not go silent.
- Create first-draft outlines and structures for blog posts from prompts provided by the CEO.
- Monitor and report key performance metrics including open rates, click-through rates, replies, signups, and A/B test results.
- Keep the marketing workspace in Notion tidy and up to date so live, queued, and upcoming work is always visible.
- Work with the engineer and designer when their input is needed, making requests clear and specific so tasks move quickly.
Tools and Working Style
You do not need to know every tool on day one, but you should already be comfortable with marketing software and able to learn new systems quickly.
- Email and lifecycle tools such as Customer.io, Loops, or similar platforms.
- Outbound tools such as Lemlist or equivalent software.
- Organization tools including Notion and Google Workspace.
- Team communication in Slack.
- Helpful bonus: some familiarity with product analytics or event tracking.
Who This Role Fits
- Someone who genuinely enjoys marketing and cares about doing it well.
- A self-starter who does not wait for instructions and can spot what needs attention.
- A person who knows how to unblock themselves by asking the right people clear, well-prepared questions.
- Someone who explains the reasoning behind suggestions, including tradeoffs and impact.
- A careful reviewer who double-checks details before sending anything to an audience.
- Someone who can move quickly without letting quality slip.
- A dependable teammate who communicates clearly and follows through.
- A warm, considerate person who is easy to work with and eager to learn.
Experience and Work Setup
- At least 2 years of experience in marketing, growth, or marketing operations.
- Startup experience is a strong advantage.
- Hands-on experience with email marketing tools is expected; Customer.io experience is a bonus but not required.
- Strong written English with a warm, clear tone.
- Reliable internet access and a proper workspace.
- Availability from Monday to Friday with at least 3 to 4 hours of overlap with Dubai working hours each day.
- Applicants from time zones such as Nigeria or the Philippines were specifically noted as a good fit for the overlap requirement.
Fit Notes
The company shared a few important expectations upfront. The CEO will continue to own the copy and overall strategy, while this role will focus on turning those ideas into first drafts and executing them carefully. If you want to own the strategy or customer-facing copy end to end, this role may not be the right match.
The work is fast-moving and detail-heavy, so it suits someone who likes staying close to execution and catching small issues before they go out. The team also expects reliable communication and consistent availability, while remaining human and flexible when life happens.
Success in the First 1–3 Months
- Email campaigns and sequences are being built, checked, and sent on schedule without the CEO having to catch avoidable mistakes.
- Audience lists are neatly segmented so messages reach the right people.
- Lemlist outbound is running smoothly across LinkedIn and email, with clear visibility on status.
- There is a steady stream of LinkedIn content ideas and posts are being shipped consistently with the social team.
- Deliverability stays healthy and performance metrics are tracked so future improvements are easy to identify.
- Requests for engineering or design support are already prepared clearly and are moving forward efficiently.
Compensation and Work Details
- This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday.
- Work can be done from your own timezone as long as you overlap with Dubai hours for 3 to 4 hours daily.
- Compensation is USD 500 per month.
- The position is fully remote.
- The start date is as soon as the right candidate is found.
Application Requirements
- A short Loom video of 2 to 3 minutes introducing yourself and sharing one marketing or operations task you owned from start to finish, including the outcome.
- Your resume or portfolio showing relevant experience and tools used.
- A brief written response explaining how you would set up and double-check an email campaign before launch so it goes out cleanly and performs well.
Additional Information
The company emphasized that this role is intended for someone who enjoys clean systems, making life easier for others, and delivering accurate work on time. It is a strong fit for a person who likes structure, consistency, and hands-on execution in a startup environment.
